The Associated Press has published a list of outdoor equipment items in Walmart stores across the country that were sold at or below retail prices last year.
Walmart said it is still trying to determine how many items were sold below retail.
Some were in stores in Texas, Florida and Virginia, and others were in locations in New York, California, Texas, Missouri and Pennsylvania.
Walton said in a statement that it’s working to provide transparency on how and when products were sold.
The company said it does not sell the items and will make them available to the public.
“We are working closely with our suppliers to understand how the sale of outdoor products may have impacted their supply chains,” the statement said.
The Associated Press and Reuters contributed to this report.
