The NFL announced plans on Monday to overhaul its ticketing system to make it easier for fans to buy footballs and other game-related gear.
The change, which will take effect on the 2018 season, will allow fans to access game ticket sales on the website, mobile app, and in person at sporting events, such as football games.
In addition, fans will be able to purchase tickets on the NFL Network and on the online store for NFL tickets.
The NFL also announced plans to change how teams are awarded seats in games.
Under the old system, each team received one seat in each stadium, while the other teams got four seats.
The league also plans to reduce the number of “back-to-back” games, which are played in the same stadium, to two.
The changes will take place on a first-come, first-served basis, and the first team to secure four tickets to a game will win the right to play there.
The changes are part of an overall plan to reduce ticket costs for fans and advertisers and to help the league expand to more markets and to more players.
